Some eco-friendly energy, or alternative energy, green energy systems are presented below:
Solar energy: Solar panels can be used to convert the sunlight into electrical energy. Some achievements of solar energy have been achieved during these years.

Wind energy: Wind turbines are connected to the generators, turn to generate electrical energy.
Hydropower: In the hydro-electric plant, water is stored in a reservoir. The water's potential power is converted to kinetic energy as it is piped into turbines that are connected to the generators.
Geothermal power: Geothermal energy harnesses the heat of our Earth to provide heating & electricity.
Biomass: Biomass is organic matter that can be converted to provide heat or electricity.
In fact most renewable systems (alternative energy systems) rely on solar energy directly or through the weather cycle as wave power, hydroelectric power, wind power via wind turbines, or solar energy collected by plants (alcohol fuels, for example). And the gravitational force of the Moon can be harnessed through tidal power stations, and the heat trapped in the centre of the Earth is used via geothermal power systems. Other green energy are energy from biofuel and fuel cells.
Renewable energy resources have the advantage of eco-friendly, such as non-polluting. But some green energy (such as wind energy) may be unreliable and may be uneffective in providing a constant supply of energy.
Despite inherent problems with the technology of renewable energy sources, the increasing environmental pressure is forcing development at an increasing pace for eco-friendly energy.
