Living eco-friendly, living green

Living an eco-friendly life is not just cool, but a trend. We can make some changes for our future and the life of our future generation with green life.

What can we do for leading an eco-friendly lifestyle? Or what will make us live eco-friendly?

Here are some ideas for you:

1. Using more green energy (renewable power)

Our conventional coal-fired power stations produce much carbon dioxide every year, which is the most significant greenhouse gas. Also vast amounts of water are exhausted in the generation of electricity. We can reduce our "carbon footprint" while using more alternative green energy.

2. Be water smart

Water is precious in many countries and areas. More and more people from different countries and areas are suffering the lack of water today. If we want to lead a green life, we can't take it for granted. Front loading washing machines, dual flush toilets, aerated taps and power shower-heads all mean less water. We can use these devices in our home for eco-friendly.

3. Eco-friendly cleaning

Biodegradable kitchen and car detergents, washing powders and organophosphate free fertilisers all help to keep the environment in check. So some are popular now.

4. Go calico

A lot of plastic bags every year are used in the world. It's too bad that plastic bags will take hundreds of years to break down. That's why you should go calico. That's why some countries announced some rules to reduce the use of plastic bags, such as China.

To be continued.

  • If all is equal, we surely will choose living green, with more alternative energy. But unfortunately, the answer is no.
